In 2013, we began diversifying into the hydrocarbon storage business with the creation of the first Tradebe terminal in the Port of Barcelona.
This cutting-edge terminal was built and designed around 3 basic principles: speed, flexibility and optimized mixing systems.
Located on the Moll de l’Energia in the Port of Barcelona, it occupies two inter-connected sites with 29 storage tanks; with a total capacity of 453,000m³.
One of the sites is adapted for the storage of lighter hydrocarbons, such as kerosene and gasoline, while the other site is for the storage of fuel oil and diesel.
With respect to the terminal’s connections, there are 6 connection points: Jetty 34B, Jetty 32G, Jetty 32E, Jetty 32C, the CLH pipeline network and 5 truck-loading bays. It is worth noting that the connection at Jetty 34B provides a draft of 16 meters, amongst the deepest in a non refinery port in the Mediterranean.
