In 2013, we began diversifying into the hydrocarbon storage business with the creation of the first Tradebe terminal in the Port of Barcelona.
This cuting-edge terminal was built and designed around 3 basic principles: speed, flexibility and optimized mixing systems.
Located on the Moll de l’Energia in the Port of Barcelona, it occupies two inter-connected sites with 29 storage tanks; with a total capacity of 453,000m³.
One of the sites is adapted for the storage of lighter hydrocarbons, such as kerosene and petrol, while the other site is for the storage of fuel oil and diesel.
As regards the terminal’s connections, there are 6 docking points: Jetty 34B, Jetty 32G, Jetty 32E, Jetty 32C, the pipeline network of the company CLH and 5 truck-loading bays. It is worth noting that the connection at Jetty 34B provides a draught of up to 16 meters, which allows boats which cannot enter other Mediterranean terminals to access those in Barcelona.
